Dots

A tribute to Norman McLaren’s 1949 film of the same name, my animation depicts the arrival of a dot, appearing out of nowhere and creating small disasters on some nameless planet. Gaseous phenomena, explosions and photonic dust move about in ethereal space. A mix of drawings, video, film and scientific archive footage.
