Queer India is one of the most talked-about movies released in 2016, attracting audiences with its cinematic storytelling and memorable performances.
In August 2014, Chinese feminist and LGBTI activist Wei Tingting undertook an exciting exploration of queer India. During one month, she traveled all around the country to connect with fellow comrades and participate in queer community activities. Talking to the various feminist and LGBTI activists she met on her way, Wei Tingting uncovers the ins and outs of gender and sexuality in India, and experiences how queer activism is changing lives.
