After a family tragedy, Val moves in with her crafty cousin, Travis, and his mom. Chaos ensues when Val attends a new school, divided by club warfare. With her and her cousin's writing club caught in the middle, they must figure out how to bring the best out of each other and everyone else around them for a good cause.
